FRIDAY
we started the weekend with registration, setting up camp and then designing your own t-shirts. after that the porters came to teach us some fabulous folk dances! that was a highlight! then amanda lindeman, our co-chair taught us about the theme. then we enjoyed s'mores and snacks by the campfire. lastly, we enjoyed some campfire songs and a short night devotional and off to bed. late that night the youth from ottawa arrived and set up camp.

Saturday
started early with a foggy sunrise personal study time in the sacred grove. breakfast, service project and then freetime. the youth played sports, watched the joseph smith movie or finished their t-shirts. after pizza for lunch we packed up and headed to the church for our fabulous keynote speakers; the pinegars. they gave great talks about being united and taking upon us the name of Christ. which was a great connection to our theme! they were powerful talks that encouraged us to stay close to our loving Heavenly Father.
we enjoyed workshops on family history, sharing the gospel with our friends and joseph smith. then patriarch morrey took us on a rainy temple walk! it was gorgeous. we finished the afternoon with a great testimony meeting from many wonderful youth! after dinner we danced the night away to the music and games by brother sykes.
